Z.Lab STEM Explorers-Engineering & Innovation Lab 在 小小科學探索家 中,孩子將化身小小科學家與工程師,透過動手實驗、工程挑戰與創意設計,探索科學與 STEM 世界的奧秘! 本期「工程與創新實驗室」將帶領孩子挑戰一系列有趣的 STEM 任務,包含滾珠雲霄飛車、地震塔、磁力迷宮、火星降落工程、電路設計、骨牌連鎖工程等。孩子將在「動手做・動腦想・勇敢挑戰」的過程中,學習觀察、測試、解決問題與創新思考。 課程結合: ✨ 科學探索 ✨ 工程設計 ✨ 問題解決 ✨ 創意思考 ✨ 動手實作 孩子不只是「做實驗」,更將透過挑戰、測試與改良,培養工程思維與未來創新能力,成為勇於探索與創造的小小 STEM 探索家! In Z.Lab STEM Explorers, children become young scientists and engineers through hands-on experiments, creative engineering challenges, and interactive STEM exploration. This semester’s theme, Engineering & Innovation Lab, invites students to build, test, and create through exciting projects such as marble roller coasters, earthquake towers, magnetic mazes, Mars landing missions, simple circuits, chain reaction engineering, and more. Through inquiry-based learning and design challenges, students will develop: ✨ Scientific thinking ✨ Engineering and problem-solving skills ✨ Creativity and innovation ✨ Observation and testing skills ✨ Confidence in hands-on learning Each class encourages children to think like real inventors and engineers while exploring how science works in the world around them. Perfect for curious minds who love to build, explore, test, and create! About Teacher: Zoe 老師擁有近十年幼兒與雙語中文教學經驗,畢業於中文系,目前於 Michigan State University 攻讀外語教學碩士(MA in Foreign Language Teaching)。 她的教學深受 Reggio Emilia 與 IB 探究式學習理念影響,重視孩子透過探索、創作與生活經驗自然學習。課程常結合故事、感官遊戲、自然探索與藝術創作,打造溫暖且充滿互動的學習環境,培養孩子的語言能力、自信與好奇心。 目前 Zoe 老師長期投入灣區幼兒中文教育、圖書館課程與社區文化推廣,並依照孩子不同的興趣與需求設計有趣且有意義的課程。 Ms. Zoe is an experienced Mandarin educator with nearly 10 years of teaching experience in early childhood and bilingual education. She holds a degree in Chinese Literature and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Foreign Language Teaching (MAFLT) at Michigan State University. Influenced by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and IB inquiry-based learning, Ms. Zoe believes children learn best through exploration, creativity, and meaningful real-life experiences. Her classes often incorporate storytelling, sensory play, nature exploration, and art activities to create a warm, interactive, and engaging learning environment.

Cancellation Policy
Attendance, Absence & Cancellation Policy *Attendance & Absence -For courses with 8 classes or fewer, each student is allowed one personal absence without providing a reason. -For courses with more than 8 classes, students may take up to two personal absences. -In both cases, you will receive make-up credits equivalent to one class fee per absence, which must be used before the current course ends. *Make-up credits can be applied to other eligible classes during the same season. -The difference is non-refundable if the make-up class costs less than the credit value. -If the make-up class costs more, the participant will be responsible for paying the difference. -If it costs more, the student must pay the difference. *If the absence is not reported at least 72 hours in advance, or if the number of allowed absences is exceeded, make-up classes or refunds will not be granted.( info@thejoyculturefoundation.org) * Cancellation & Refund Policy Program Cancellation by Organizer : -Programs may be canceled 7 days before the first class if minimum enrollment is not met. -If a class is canceled, participants will be notified by email and receive a full refund. -Credit card refunds may take 1–2 weeks to process. *Refunds for General Courses : Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the course start date: Full refund minus a 15% or $50 processing fee (whichever is lower) Cancellations made within 10 business days of the start date: No refund *All cancellations must be made in writing via email to: info@thejoyculturefoundation.org Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
