Service Description

This workshop is designed to help you build confidence and clarity in your public speaking. Learn the fundamentals of effective communication, including body language, voice control, and structuring your message. Whether you're presenting in class, hanging out with friends and families, you'll leave feeling more poised and prepared to captivate any audience! *Only register for 9-12 years old participants. Instructor Bio: Jiayu Jeng has over 25-years’ experience in the Broadcast Industry. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Radio & Television at the National Cheng-Chi University and a Master Degree in Mass Communication & Journalism at San Jose State University. Jiayu served as a reporter for the largest private radio company in Taiwan and hosted the radio broadcast of the Golden Bell Awards Ceremony in 1993. She arrived in the Bay Area in 1996 and has worked for many of the major Chinese broadcasting companies in the Market. 鄭家瑜 台灣政治大學廣播電視系學士, 聖荷西州大新聞傳播碩士。 台灣正聲廣播公司新聞部記者,星島中文電台製作/主持人, 灣區無線六十六台節目部統籌,KTSF二十六台節目部經理/主持人。

Participation & Risk Acknowledgement I give permission for my child to participate in the Sugar Painting Workshop organized by The Joy Culture Foundation. I understand that this activity involves the use of electrical sugar painting pens and hot, melted sugar. I acknowledge that participation may involve risks, including but not limited to burns, electrical shock, slips, or other injuries. I understand these risks and knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, associated with participation in this activity, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Parental Supervision I understand and agree that my child must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the workshop. I accept full responsibility for my child’s safety, behavior, and compliance with all safety instructions provided by the organizers or instructors. Release and Waiver of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless The Joy Culture Foundation, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, instructors, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in this activity, including those resulting from ordinary negligence. This release does not apply to claims arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct. Medical Authorization In the event of an emergency and if I cannot be reached, I authorize The Joy Culture Foundation to obtain emergency medical treatment for my child. I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Photo & Video Release I grant permission to The Joy Culture Foundation to photograph and/or record my child and myself during the workshop and to use such images or recordings for promotional, educational, and documentation purposes, including websites, social media, and printed materials, without compensation. Severability If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Governing Law & Venue This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any legal action arising out of this agreement shall be brought in Santa Clara County, California. Acknowledgement & Signature I have read and understand this Parental Consent, Liability Waiver & Media Release. I understand that by signing this document, I am giving up
