Service Description

Welcome to 'Money Smarts for Kids'! Today, we’re going to explore the exciting world of money and learn how to make smart decisions about earning, saving, spending and investing. Whether it’s saving up for your favorite toy, understanding the value of a dollar, or dreaming about your future goals, this workshop will help you build skills to become confident and responsible with money. Let’s get ready to have fun and discover the secrets of being financially savvy! Instructor Bio: J.H. MoneyTalks, also known as Xiaojin (Jean) Huang, is the author of the highly praised book “Personal Finance for Teens and Young Adults: The Essential Life Skills of Making Money, Budgeting, Saving, and Investing to Build Wealth and Reach Your Dreams.” With a strong background in finance and accounting, Jean earned a finance degree from Oral Roberts University and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Since becoming a CPA in 2014, she has specialized in tax planning, retirement planning, wealth building, and estate planning, helping individuals, families, and small businesses maximize their savings and grow their financial legacy. As a mom of three—including two in college and one in middle school, Jean noticed a major gap in how schools prepare teens and young adults for real-world financial decisions. Inspired to change that, she wrote her book as a practical guide to give young people the tools they need to manage money, build wealth, and create a secure future. Now, she is expanding her mission to promote financial literacy to pre-teens as well, ensuring kids gain an early start on understanding money and developing smart financial habits. Jean believes that when young people gain financial knowledge, they can make money “talk” and work for them, setting them up for success in life and beyond. *All workshops will be conducted mainly in English, with some Chinese supplemental materials. After each workshop, snacks and drinks will be prepared during family Q&A session 所有講座將以英文為主,中文為輔。會後備有茶點及問答時間)
