Service Description
Teacher: Ms. Ariel 在這個半日營裡，孩子會用最「好玩」也最有系統的方式學數學：先透過故事、歌謠與肢體遊戲建立概念，再把抽象的數學轉化為看得見、摸得到的創作。五天主題涵蓋：對稱、幾何形狀、規律、數量概念，以及測量與 2D→3D 的空間轉換。每天孩子都會完成一件作品，逐步累積成一組Mobile Art 作品集，並於週五進行小小展示。整體課程在「玩」與「做」之間建立連結，特別適合喜歡動手創作、樂於探索的孩子，在藝術中自然培養觀察力、空間概念與初步的 STEM 思維。 課程亮點: 每日創作數學概念的手工作品。 在故事、歌謠與手作中，認識對稱、形狀、規律與數量感。 動手小實驗，培養觀察力與空間概念。 週五完成組裝Mobile Art，並有小小展示分享一週的學習成果。 Math & Art: Mobile Makers Camp — Symmetry • Shapes • Patterns • Balance In this half-day camp, children explore early math through a playful art studio experience—stories, songs, movement, and lots of hands-on creating. Across five days, children create, experiment, and build a series of pieces to bring home and proudly display—playing with shapes, symmetry, patterns, and balance along the way, and using simple measuring and comparing as they design. Each day adds a new piece to a Mobile Art collection. On Friday, children assemble, test, and rebalance their mobiles (seeing how length and weight affect balance) and share their finished work in a mini showcase. Camp Highlights: Create a hands-on craft each day that brings early math ideas to life. Learn symmetry, shapes, patterns, and number sense through stories, songs, and hands-on making. Build observation skills and spatial awareness through simple hands-on experiments. On Friday, finish assembling the Mobile Art and share the week’s learning in a mini showcase.
Cancellation Policy
Refund & Withdrawal Policy Age Eligibility Each program is designed for a specific age range, which is listed on the course page. Participants must fall within the stated age range as of the course start date. It is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to register for an age-appropriate class. TJCF reserves the right to verify a participant’s age and to cancel any registration that does not meet the age requirement. In such cases, we will offer to transfer the participant to an age-appropriate class if space is available. If no suitable class is available, a full refund will be issued. If a suitable class is available but the participant chooses not to transfer, the refund will be processed according to the applicable refund policy below. How Do I Request a Refund? • All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to info@thejoyculturefoundation.org. • Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment (credit card or check). Summer Camp Refund Policy • Cancellation before April 1, 2026: Full refund minus a $50 administrative fee per camp session. • Cancellation on or after April 1, 2026: No refunds will be issued. General Course Refund Policy • Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the course start date: Full refund minus a processing fee of 15% of the registration fee or $50, whichever is less. • Cancellations made within 10 business days of the course start date: No refund. For the purposes of this policy, “business days” exclude weekends and public holidays. Additional Policies • No prorated refunds will be provided for partial attendance. • No refunds, make-up classes, or credits will be given for missed days due to personal reasons, including absences, late arrivals, or early departures. Program Cancellation Policy TJCF reserves the right to cancel a course or camp if fewer than three participants are enrolled. In such cases, families will be notified at least one month before the program start date, and a full refund will be issued.
