Courage Doll: Stitching Courage, Sharing Kindness 勇氣娃娃：縫出勇氣，傳遞善意 去年深受孩子與家長喜愛的「勇氣娃娃」課程，今年再次開課，邀請更多孩子一起縫出勇氣，傳遞善意。本課程靈感來自台灣劉繼華老師創作的「勇氣娃娃」。透過她用雙手傳遞愛與希望的故事，引導孩子學習勇氣、關懷與分享。 在八週的工作坊中，孩子們將親手縫製屬於自己的勇氣娃娃，學習基礎手縫技巧，並培養勇氣、自信與同理心。課程最後，孩子們將透過義賣與捐贈活動，把完成的勇氣娃娃分享給需要關懷的人，將愛與善意傳遞出去。 Back by popular demand, the Courage Doll workshop returns this year, inviting more children to stitch courage and share kindness. Inspired by the story of Courage Doll creator Ms. Rebecca Liu from Taiwan, this program encourages children to discover the power of courage, compassion, and giving through the art of hand sewing. Over eight sessions, students will create their own Courage Doll while learning basic sewing skills, building confidence, and developing empathy. The program concludes with a Sale and Donation project, where children share their handmade Courage Dolls with those in need, discovering how small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. Date: Saturday. 4:10-5:10 pm - 9/26,10/10,17,11/7,14 Saturday. 2:40-3:40-10/3,10/24 8 sessions (Donation date to be announced.) 本課程免費，需預繳200元保證金。完成至少五堂課並參與最後捐贈活動後，全額退還。 This workshop is free of charge. A $200 deposit is required and will be fully refunded upon attending at least five sessions and participating in the final donation event. About The Teacher: Ms. Zoe has over 10 years of experience teaching Mandarin to children and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Foreign Language Teaching at Michigan State University. She is passionate about creating meaningful, hands on learning experiences that inspire confidence, kindness, and creativity. Through the Courage Doll program, she encourages children to discover the joy of courage, empathy, and giving back to others.
