Service Description
This course will teach students how to build RC airplanes from scratch. We will guide students through building and wiring a model airplane while also covering fundamental aerodynamic concepts such as drag. We will explore elevators, rudders, and other parts of various aircraft in our journey and finish the class with a field trip to Baylands Park, where we will have the opportunity to meet professional racers and other hobbyists. About the teacher: Evan Zhang is a junior at The Harker School in San Jose, California. He has previously participated in robotics and currently runs the school’s Aerospace Club. Eddie Zhang is a junior at The Harker School in San Jose. He currently serves as president of Harker’s CAD and 3D printing club and has seen success in math and coding olympiads. Justin Yang is a junior at The Harker School in San Jose. He has taken several advanced calculus and physics classes and is interested in aviation. Saturday & Sunday 12:30-2:30 pm 6/7,6/8,6/14,6/15

*Programs may be canceled seven days before the first class date when the minimum enrollment is not met. Please register early. *If a class or program is canceled, participants are notified via email and will receive a full refund. Please note that refunds paid by credit card may take up to one to two weeks to process. *No refunds are provided for any one to five sessions, including workshops, special events, and trial classes.
