在本夏令營中，孩子們將以艾瑞卡爾的經典繪本《Where Are You Going? To See My Friend.》為主題，探索各種可愛的小動物，包括狗、小貓、小兔子和小羊。每天，孩子們將透過故事、遊戲,認字,手作和說唱活動,提昇他們的中文口語表達能力。在最後一堂課，我們將邀請家長們來參加孩子們的說唱表演，分享他們的學習喜悅！ 動物介紹：透過繪本故事，認識不同的動物的特徵與習性。 認字學習：透過遊戲活動,認識主題相關的簡單字詞。 兒童唱謠：結合主題動物學童謠，讓孩子們參與唱誦與舞動。 手作活動：增進孩子們對動物的認識並幫助發展他們的精細運動技能. 說唱表演：孩子們將透過演, 說, 唱,跳來展示他們的學習成果與表達能力。 In this summer camp, children will explore adorable animals, including dogs, cats, bunnies, and sheep, through the classic picture book by Eric Carle, Where Are You Going? To See My Friend. Children will engage with the theme daily through stories, games, vocabulary recognition, crafts, singing, and dance activities. On the final day, we will invite parents to join the children for a performance, sharing their joy and excitement in learning! *Animal Introduction: Learn about different animals' characteristics and habits through the picture book's story. *Vocabulary Learning: Recognize simple words related to the theme through game activities. *Nursery Songs: Engage in singing and dancing to children's songs related to the theme of animals. *Craft Activities: Enhance children's understanding of animals and develop fine motor skills. *Performance: Children will showcase their learning outcomes and expressive abilities through acting, speaking, singing, and dancing. About Teacher: Vivian Huang is a seasoned Mandarin language teacher with over 20 years of experience. She has served as an Academic Director in Taiwan and an Academic Coordinator in the San Francisco Bay Area. Committed to professional growth, Vivian has participated in various training programs and specializes in teaching younger children in immersion and IB schools. She effectively integrates dance, music, and performances into her lessons, adapting her methods to meet each student's unique needs while fostering confidence and personal growth. Currently, she manages and develops all courses and programs at the TJCF as Program Director.

• All cancellations need to be notified via email to info@thejoyculturefoundation.org • Refunds will be issued in the form of a check or credit card, depending on the original method of payment. • Cancel before April 9 2025: Each session will be refunded in full, less $50 cancellation fee • Cancel on or after April 9, 2025: No refunds will be issued • No prorations for partial sessions, and no refunds for missed days for any reason. • The disclaimer: TJCF reserves the right to cancel the camp, when when the minimum enrollment is not met.
