Artistic Director: Debbie Wu 今年特別設計了一個跨文化舞蹈體驗課程，我們將結合民族舞蹈, K-pop和Jazz三種風格來介紹不同文化的舞蹈形式和風格.中國舞蹈獨特的身段韻味與民族舞的基本動作組合，展現出驕俏柔美與陽剛帥氣兼具的特質，塑造出和諧而富有魅力的中國民俗舞蹈之美.K-pop 舞蹈課程將教授學生基本動作及流行舞蹈風格，並探索與 K-pop 歌曲的搭配還有暖身和肌耐力練習。 Jazz 舞蹈將學習基本步伐和技巧，體驗其自由性與表現力，以發展個人舞蹈風格.在最後一堂的課程中，我們將結合先前學習的舞蹈元素，創作一個舞蹈小品。 中國民俗舞蹈小品：桃花過渡 道具：紅色小木屐和 傳統長板凳 This camp features a specially designed cross-cultural dance experience course, combining Chinese dance, K-pop, and Jazz to introduce various dance forms and styles from different cultures. With its unique postures and rhythms combined with basic dance movements, Chinese dance showcases a blend of grace and strength, creating the harmonious and captivating beauty of Chinese folk dance. The K-pop dance course will teach students basic movements and popular dance styles, exploring how to pair them with K-pop songs and warm-up and endurance exercises. In Jazz dance, students will learn fundamental steps and techniques, experiencing its freedom and expressiveness to develop their dance style.In the final class, we will integrate the dance elements learned throughout the course to create a short piece. Chinese Folk Dance: “ joyful springtime ” Props: Red Wooden Clogs & Traditional Long Benches About Teacher: Debbie Wu has over 30 years of experience in dance as a performer and instructor. She holds a BA in Dance from the National Taiwan University of Arts and founded Huang Jia Dance Studio at 25. Her career began with a scholarship to Taiwan's Cloud Gate Dance Theater, and she has performed with prestigious companies and toured internationally. Debbie’s teaching style emphasizes patience, positivity, and high expectations, helping students develop strong technical skills and a love for dance. Aichin Lo is a passionate dance instructor with over seven years of experience teaching creative dance to children in private studios and schools. She has also performed with the Yi Yuan Children's Theater. Aichin trained in the Experimental Dance Class at Taoyuan High School and majored in Modern Dance at Tainan Woman's University, where she minored in teaching creative dance. Additionally, she is a certified special education teacher with extensive experience working with children with special needs, teaching music and movement in various non-profit organizations across Taiwan.

• All cancellations need to be notified via email to info@thejoyculturefoundation.org • Refunds will be issued in the form of a check or credit card, depending on the original method of payment. • Cancel before April 9 2025: Each session will be refunded in full, less $50 cancellation fee • Cancel on or after April 9, 2025: No refunds will be issued • No prorations for partial sessions, and no refunds for missed days for any reason. • The disclaimer: TJCF reserves the right to cancel the camp, when when the minimum enrollment is not met.
