歡迎來到我們的活力夏令營，這裡非常適合渴望探索中文和中國文化的孩子們！每天都有豐富多彩的活動，包括有趣的動物瑜伽與律動，以及學習中國書法、傳統水墨畫和T恤設計的手作活動。孩子們將踏上文化探索之旅，發現迷人的傳統、圖騰和故事，激發他們的創造力，並加深他們對這個珍貴文化的體驗。夏令營的最後一天將舉行特別的展示，孩子們可以展示和分享他們獨特的作品. Welcome to our lively camp, perfect for curious little ones eager to explore the Chinese language and culture! Each day is packed with exciting activities like Animal Yoga, playful movement, and hands-on lessons in Chinese Calligraphy, Traditional Painting, and T-shirt design. Kids will embark on a cultural adventure, discovering fascinating traditions, symbols, and stories that ignite their creativity and deepen their appreciation for this rich heritage. The camp concludes with a fantastic showcase on the final day, where children can proudly present their unique creations and share their incredible journey! Course Highlights: * Basics of Chinese Characters Children will explore the world of Chinese characters through interactive activities. They'll learn how these symbols represent words and their meanings and practice basic writing strokes. * Introduction to Chinese Ink: Children will be introduced to traditional Chinese ink painting, mastering basic brush techniques while creating expressive artwork. *Creative Movements Fun movement activities encourage self-expression and coordination through dancing, stretching, and storytelling. * T-Shirt Design Children will design unique T-shirts, blending colors and patterns that reflect their personalities and summer memories. * Showcase Join us for Presentation Day, where parents can see their child's performances and artwork, including T-shirt designs and ink paintings. About Teacher: Ms. Susan holds a Master's degree in Foreign Language Teaching from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's in Dance Education from Taipei National University of the Arts. With over 25 years of experience teaching students aged 4 to 16, she has served as a Mandarin teacher at a local international school and as a cultural educator in Taipei, the Middle East, Vietnam, and Nicaragua. She also has experience as a Children’s Rhythmic Dance Instructor at Cloud Gate Dance Studio in Taiwan.

• All cancellations need to be notified via email to info@thejoyculturefoundation.org • Refunds will be issued in the form of a check or credit card, depending on the original method of payment. • Cancel before April 9 2025: Each session will be refunded in full, less $50 cancellation fee • Cancel on or after April 9, 2025: No refunds will be issued • No prorations for partial sessions, and no refunds for missed days for any reason. • The disclaimer: TJCF reserves the right to cancel the camp, when when the minimum enrollment is not met.
