在這堂課，我們一起打造一個輕鬆、溫暖的粵語小天地。 Samantha 用繪本說故事、唱童謠、玩遊戲，陪孩子們在歡笑中自然接觸粵語。 我們會一起用粵語認識各種有趣又熟悉的主題，像是中秋節、水果、形狀、身體部位、情緒、動物、冬天，還有大家最喜歡的——粵式點心！ 讓文化的種子悄悄萌芽，讓粵語慢慢融入生活，成為孩子心中熟悉又親切的一部分。 In this class, we’re creating a warm, playful little world of Cantonese. Through storybooks, songs, and fun class activities, Samantha encourages children to explore the language naturally and joyfully. Together, we’ll discover fun and familiar Cantonese themes—such as the Mid-Autumn Festival, fruits, shapes, body parts, feelings, animals, the winter season, and everyone’s favorite: dim sum! It’s a space where kids can connect with their roots, and where Cantonese becomes a fun, familiar part of everyday life—something they can genuinely feel at home with. Teacher: Samantha Luke Meet Ms. Samantha — a warm, creative mom who loves sharing Cantonese through stories, songs, and play. Born and partly raised in Hong Kong, she’s passionate about passing on the language and culture she grew up with. Now raising two young children herself, she brings a parent’s insight and heart into every class. Attendance, Absence & Cancellation Policy *Attendance & Absence -For courses with 8 classes or fewer, each student is allowed one personal absence without providing a reason. -For courses with more than 8 classes, students may take up to two personal absences. -In both cases, you will receive make-up credits equivalent to one class fee per absence, which must be used before the current course ends. *Make-up credits can be applied to other eligible classes during the same season. -The difference is non-refundable if the make-up class costs less than the credit value. -If the make-up class costs more, the participant will be responsible for paying the difference. -If it costs more, the student must pay the difference. *If the absence is not reported at least 72 hours in advance, or if the number of allowed absences is exceeded, make-up classes or refunds will not be granted.( info@thejoyculturefoundation.org) * Cancellation & Refund Policy Program Cancellation by Organizer : -Programs may be canceled 7 days before the first class if minimum enrollment is not met. -If a class is canceled, participants will be notified by email and receive a full refund. -Credit card refunds may take 1–2 weeks to process. *Refunds for General Courses ： Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the course start date: Full refund minus a 15% or $50 processing fee (whichever is lower) Cancellations made within 10 business days of the start date: No refund *All cancellations must be made in writing via email to: info@thejoyculturefoundation.org Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
