生活科學好有趣— 我看、我覺得、我想知道！ 科學 × 中文 × 動手做，歡迎加入我們的生活科學探險隊！ 這是一堂用中文進行的生活科學課，帶領孩子觀察自然、動手做實驗，在玩中學、學中問。從影子的變化到動物的保護色，從風的能量到奇妙的化石，我們一起發現生活中的大小奧祕！ 在這段充滿驚奇與創造力的旅程中，孩子們不只動手做，更動腦想，培養科學探究力，也在自然地學習中，建立中文理解與表達的自信。 課程主題包含： 生命的循環：探索昆蟲、植物與兩棲類的成長歷程，組裝生命週期轉盤，觀察自然界的神奇變化。 認識影子的變化:從日晷製作出發，探索地球自轉與太陽視運動的奧祕。 天氣小偵探：觀察雲朵、追蹤天氣變化，學習如何用線索預測天氣。 極端天氣觀察：認識龍捲風、閃電、颶風等現象，動手製作簡易天氣圖。 沙子調查隊：放大鏡下看沙子，探索不同地區沙子的顏色與成分，展開小小地質調查。 動物的保護色：模擬掠食者與偽裝遊戲，了解動物如何巧妙保護自己。 創造進化生物：設計一隻適應極端環境的動物，發揮創意與科學想像力。 奇妙化石：認識化石如何形成，親手製作化石模型，了解古生物的世界。 種子旅行記：設計會飛、會黏的種子模型，探索植物如何展開旅行。 風的力量：製作風車與升降繩，體驗風的能量與各種用途。 靜電魔法：用氣球、頭髮做小實驗，發現生活中看不見的電力魔法！ The Wonders of Everyday Science — I See, I Feel, I Want to Know! Science × Mandarin × Hands-On Learning — Join Our Everyday Science Adventure Team! This is a hands-on everyday science class conducted in Mandarin, designed to lead children in observing nature and conducting experiments through play and exploration. From the changing shapes of shadows to the camouflage of animals, from the energy of the wind to the mystery of fossils, we will uncover the wonders hidden in our daily lives! Throughout this journey filled with curiosity and creativity, children will not only engage in hands-on activities but also practice critical thinking and scientific inquiry. At the same time, they will build confidence in Mandarin comprehension and expression in a natural and immersive environment. Teacher: Ms.Zoe Ms. Zoe is an experienced Chinese language educator with nearly 10 years of teaching experience. She has a background in the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy and believes in fostering a connection with the natural environment to help children understand the world better. Currently, she teaches at an IB school with an immersion curriculum, catering to each student's individual needs. Miss Zoe promotes active student participation, encourages creativity, and aims to unlock each student's potential through practical projects and student-initiated explorations. Attendance, Absence & Cancellation Policy *Attendance & Absence -For courses with 8 classes or fewer, each student is allowed one personal absence without providing a reason. -For courses with more than 8 classes, students may take up to two personal absences. -In both cases, you will receive make-up credits equivalent to one class fee per absence, which must be used before the current course ends. *Make-up credits can be applied to other eligible classes during the same season. -The difference is non-refundable if the make-up class costs less than the credit value. -If the make-up class costs more, the participant will be responsible for paying the difference. -If it costs more, the student must pay the difference. *If the absence is not reported at least 72 hours in advance, or if the number of allowed absences is exceeded, make-up classes or refunds will not be granted.( info@thejoyculturefoundation.org) * Cancellation & Refund Policy Program Cancellation by Organizer : -Programs may be canceled 7 days before the first class if minimum enrollment is not met. -If a class is canceled, participants will be notified by email and receive a full refund. -Credit card refunds may take 1–2 weeks to process. *Refunds for General Courses ： Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the course start date: Full refund minus a 15% or $50 processing fee (whichever is lower) Cancellations made within 10 business days of the start date: No refund *All cancellations must be made in writing via email to: info@thejoyculturefoundation.org Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
