這堂手作課程分為兩個部分：前半段以感官探索為主，孩子將接觸顏色、形狀等不同元素，發揮創意自由創作；後半段則著重於環境創作為主，運用家中可回收的材料或大自然中的小素材，減少對環境的負擔。課程將激發孩子的想像力，創作出獨一無二的作品，並在過程中學習珍惜資源、愛護地球。 每堂課都是一次創作與文化的小旅行！ 課程主題包括： 9/6 迷你海底世界 9/20 秋日光影小燈籠 10/4 魔法滿月夜 10/18 泡泡女巫魔法湯 11/1墨西哥亡靈節 11/15 感恩節 12/6 聖尼古拉斯節 ((聖誕老人的靈感來源) 1/10歡慶新年的到來 This hands-on art course is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on sensory exploration, where children will work with different materials, colors, and shapes to unleash their creativity. The second part emphasizes environmentally friendly art, utilizing upcycled materials from home or nature to minimize waste and reduce environmental impact. Through this creative process, children will develop their imagination, create unique artwork, and learn to appreciate and care for our planet. Each class is a mini adventure in creativity and culture! The themes include: 9/6 Mini Underwater World 9/20 Autumn Lantern Magic 10/4 Magical Moonlit Night 10/18 Bubble Witch’s Brew 11/1 Día de Muertos, 11/15 Thanksgiving 12/6 St. Nicholas Day 1/10 Lunar New Year Celebration Teacher: Ms.Tzuling Liu/Ms. Ava Chen Ms. Tzuling holds a B.F.A. in Computer Arts: New Media from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and an M.A. in English from San Francisco State University. She currently works as a graphic designer for TJCF and teaches art and craft at our library. Ava Chen has nearly a decade of experience in pediatric care and early childhood intervention. Her passion for arts and crafts inspired her to join TJCF, where she has played a key role in designing displays for various themes, events, and workshops. Ava also loves guiding children through stories and hands-on activities. Date: 9/6, 9/20, 10/4 10/18 , 11/1, 11/15 12/6, 1/10(8 sessions)
Cancellation Policy
Attendance, Absence & Cancellation Policy *Attendance & Absence -For courses with 8 classes or fewer, each student is allowed one personal absence without providing a reason. -For courses with more than 8 classes, students may take up to two personal absences. -In both cases, you will receive make-up credits equivalent to one class fee per absence, which must be used before the current course ends. *Make-up credits can be applied to other eligible classes during the same season. -The difference is non-refundable if the make-up class costs less than the credit value. -If the make-up class costs more, the participant will be responsible for paying the difference. -If it costs more, the student must pay the difference. *If the absence is not reported at least 72 hours in advance, or if the number of allowed absences is exceeded, make-up classes or refunds will not be granted.( info@thejoyculturefoundation.org) * Cancellation & Refund Policy Program Cancellation by Organizer : -Programs may be canceled 7 days before the first class if minimum enrollment is not met. -If a class is canceled, participants will be notified by email and receive a full refund. -Credit card refunds may take 1–2 weeks to process. *Refunds for General Courses ： Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the course start date: Full refund minus a 15% or $50 processing fee (whichever is lower) Cancellations made within 10 business days of the start date: No refund *All cancellations must be made in writing via email to: info@thejoyculturefoundation.org Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
