貼近自然，畫出童心，一起輕鬆趣味學水墨。 你知道嗎？國畫並不只是端坐臨摹，它也可以充滿想像與自由。 課堂以自然觀察為起點，帶孩子走進色彩與筆墨的世界——在花草樹木、魚蟲瓜果間尋寶，用筆觸與顏色說故事，創造屬於自己的水墨風景。 每一堂課，都是一段小旅程 老師將引導孩子探索中國繪畫的線條與筆法、構圖與留白、色彩與墨韻之美，學會在創作中表達情感與想法。 課程最後，我們還會舉辦一場溫馨的「小畫展」，讓孩子展示作品，與家長分享創作的喜悅與成長。 課程特色： 1️⃣ 透過小故事、圖片與自然素材引發創作靈感 2️⃣ 示範簡單筆法、暈染技巧與構圖方式 3️⃣ 孩子親手創作＋老師個別指導 2/7,2/14, 2/28, 3/7, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4, 4/25, 5/9, 5/16 ( 10 sessions) About the Teacher: Gini Hou earned her Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan, where she also gained valuable experience assisting with teaching and student mentoring before moving to the United States. For the past eight years, she has been teaching Mandarin and Chinese blush painting in the Bay Area, combining her background in art and language education to inspire children through creative and culturally rich learning experiences. She believes that both art and language are forms of feeling and expression—ways for children to understand the world and share their inner thoughts. With this belief, Ms. Hou guides students to experience the expressive beauty of brush and ink while discovering the unique spirit of Chinese art, helping them appreciate the beauty of Chinese culture through a perspective distinct from Western painting.

Cancellation Policy
Attendance, Absence & Cancellation Policy *Attendance & Absence -For courses with 8 classes or fewer, each student is allowed one personal absence without providing a reason. -For courses with more than 8 classes, students may take up to two personal absences. -In both cases, you will receive make-up credits equivalent to one class fee per absence, which must be used before the current course ends. *Make-up credits can be applied to other eligible classes during the same season. -The difference is non-refundable if the make-up class costs less than the credit value. -If the make-up class costs more, the participant will be responsible for paying the difference. -If it costs more, the student must pay the difference. *If the absence is not reported at least 72 hours in advance, or if the number of allowed absences is exceeded, make-up classes or refunds will not be granted.( info@thejoyculturefoundation.org) * Cancellation & Refund Policy Program Cancellation by Organizer : -Programs may be canceled 7 days before the first class if minimum enrollment is not met. -If a class is canceled, participants will be notified by email and receive a full refund. -Credit card refunds may take 1–2 weeks to process. *Refunds for General Courses ： Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the course start date: Full refund minus a 15% or $50 processing fee (whichever is lower) Cancellations made within 10 business days of the start date: No refund *All cancellations must be made in writing via email to: info@thejoyculturefoundation.org Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
