在春季班，我們會延續那個讓孩子安心、放鬆的粵語小天地。 Samantha 老師以繪本故事、情境遊戲、童謠與互動活動，陪孩子以自然的方式接觸粵語。 這一季的主題包括：農曆新年、海底世界、交通工具、蔬菜、春天、家庭、遊樂場和外太空。 我們希望孩子在故事與遊戲中輕鬆聽到、說到粵語；讓粵語不只是親切的語言，也成為生活裡的一部分。 This Spring, we’ll continue creating a warm and relaxed Cantonese space. Through storybooks, role-play, simple rhymes, and interactive activities, Ms. Samantha helps children experience Cantonese naturally. Our themes this season include: Lunar New Year, Under the Sea, Transportation, Vegetables, Spring, Family, Playground fun, and Outer Space. We hope children can hear and use Cantonese naturally through stories and play— So Cantonese becomes not only familiar, but also a small part of their everyday lives. -------------------- About the teacher-Samantha Luke Meet Ms. Samantha — a warm, creative mom who loves sharing Cantonese through stories, songs, and play. Born and partly raised in Hong Kong, she’s passionate about passing on the language and culture she grew up with. Now raising two young children herself, she brings a parent’s insight and heart into every class. With a background in the nonprofit world and a passion for arts and crafts, Samantha brings creativity and care into her teaching, making each session feel imaginative, engaging, and full of heart. Attendance, Absence & Cancellation Policy *Attendance & Absence -For courses with 8 classes or fewer, each student is allowed one personal absence without providing a reason. -For courses with more than 8 classes, students may take up to two personal absences. -In both cases, you will receive make-up credits equivalent to one class fee per absence, which must be used before the current course ends. *Make-up credits can be applied to other eligible classes during the same season. -The difference is non-refundable if the make-up class costs less than the credit value. -If the make-up class costs more, the participant will be responsible for paying the difference. -If it costs more, the student must pay the difference. *If the absence is not reported at least 72 hours in advance, or if the number of allowed absences is exceeded, make-up classes or refunds will not be granted.( info@thejoyculturefoundation.org) * Cancellation & Refund Policy Program Cancellation by Organizer : -Programs may be canceled 7 days before the first class if minimum enrollment is not met. -If a class is canceled, participants will be notified by email and receive a full refund. -Credit card refunds may take 1–2 weeks to process. *Refunds for General Courses ： Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the course start date: Full refund minus a 15% or $50 processing fee (whichever is lower) Cancellations made within 10 business days of the start date: No refund *All cancellations must be made in writing via email to: info@thejoyculturefoundation.org Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
