AI探索 × 烏克麗麗體驗工作坊 電腦是如何辨識模式，或根據文字創造圖像的？ 在這場有趣又動手實作的工作坊中，學生將透過簡單清楚的活動，探索人工智慧（AI）的基礎概念。課程設計深入淺出，讓孩子理解AI如何運作，而不只是「使用」AI。下半段還將加入一段輕鬆愉快的尤克里里體驗，讓學習結合創意與音樂！ 課程內容包含： • 什麼是人工智慧？——機器如何從資料中學習並做出預測 • 模式辨識（Pattern Recognition）的運作原理 • 傳統程式設計 vs. 機器學習的差異 • 日常生活中的AI（Input → System → Output） • AI圖像生成活動——從「文字描述」到「AI模型」再到「圖像生成」的完整過程 課程規劃亮點 第一堂課將清楚說明整體課程架構，並引導學生分享他們對AI已知的想法，建立連結與興趣。 學生將學習： • AI是如何從資料中學習模式 • 模式其實是資料中的「關係與相似性」 • 傳統程式設計需要人類寫出每一條規則，而機器學習則是讓電腦自己找出規律並預測結果 • AI在生活中的應用流程：人類蒐集資料 → 設定目標 → AI系統處理 → 產生輸出 實作活動中，學生將嘗試撰寫提示詞（prompts），使用AI生成圖像，並分析文字如何影響圖像結果。 關於講師： Kaylee 是 M-A High School 的九年級學生，熱愛數學、物理與人工智慧等STEM領域。她喜歡幫助他人學習，並期待將自己探索AI的經驗分享給更多學生。 她的興趣包括高爾夫、彈貝斯與機器人製作。 AI Exploration × Ukulele Experience Workshop How do computers recognize patterns—or even turn words into images? In this exciting, hands-on workshop, students will dive into the world of Artificial Intelligence and discover how AI really works—not just how to use it. Through interactive activities and real examples, students will learn how machines recognize patterns, make predictions, and generate images from text. In the second half of the workshop, we’ll switch gears and enjoy a fun, relaxing ukulele session—blending technology, creativity, and music in one unique experience. What Students Will Discover: • What AI is and how machines learn from data • How pattern recognition powers modern technology • The key difference between traditional programming and machine learning • How AI works in daily life (Input → System → Output) • How text prompts become AI-generated images Students will even create their own AI-generated images and see firsthand how their word choices shape the results. About the Instructor Kaylee is a 9th grader at M-A High School with a passion for math, physics, and AI. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for STEM and helping younger students explore the exciting possibilities of technology.

Participation & Risk Acknowledgement I give permission for my child to participate in the Sugar Painting Workshop organized by The Joy Culture Foundation. I understand that this activity involves the use of electrical sugar painting pens and hot, melted sugar. I acknowledge that participation may involve risks, including but not limited to burns, electrical shock, slips, or other injuries. I understand these risks and knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, associated with participation in this activity, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Parental Supervision I understand and agree that my child must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the workshop. I accept full responsibility for my child’s safety, behavior, and compliance with all safety instructions provided by the organizers or instructors. Release and Waiver of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless The Joy Culture Foundation, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, instructors, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in this activity, including those resulting from ordinary negligence. This release does not apply to claims arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct. Medical Authorization In the event of an emergency and if I cannot be reached, I authorize The Joy Culture Foundation to obtain emergency medical treatment for my child. I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Photo & Video Release I grant permission to The Joy Culture Foundation to photograph and/or record my child and myself during the workshop and to use such images or recordings for promotional, educational, and documentation purposes, including websites, social media, and printed materials, without compensation. Severability If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Governing Law & Venue This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any legal action arising out of this agreement shall be brought in Santa Clara County, California. Acknowledgement & Signature I have read and understand this Parental Consent, Liability Waiver & Media Release. I understand that by signing this document, I am giving up
